How to Set Up RFID Cards

You can use RFID cards or keychain fobs to start charging sessions with your Electric Avenue charger. Follow the steps below to link your RFID card to your Electric Avenue account.

Step 1 – Download the App

• Download the Electric Avenue app for iOS or Android.

• Create your user account by following the in-app instructions.

Step 2 – Add an RFID Tag in the App

1. Open the Electric Avenue app.

2. Tap the menu icon (☰) in the top left corner.

3. Select RFID Cards.

4. Tap Add RFID Tag number from Key FOB or Card.

Step 3 – Scan the QR Code

1. Tap Scan QR Code in the app.

2. Scan the QR code sticker found on the front of your charger.

   • Note: RFID setup can be done on any networked OCPP Electric Avenue charger.

You’re All Set!

Once the setup is complete, your RFID card or fob will be linked to your account. You can now tap the RFID card to the reader on your charger to start charging.
